ELIGIBILITY

To become a Canadian citizen, applicants must

• be a permanent resident

• have lived in Canada for at least 3 out of the last 5 years 

• have filed your taxes if applicable

• pass a citizenship test ( 18 to 54 years)

• prove your language skills in English or French if applicable
