Saskatchewan PNP seeks 535 immigration candidates

The candidates with work experience in one of the 81 in demand occupations are invited by provisions for SINP.


Saskatchewanheld a new draw on 24th September invited 535 immigration candidates to apply for permanent residence.


SINP gives out invitation to candidates in Express Entry and Occupations in Demand Categories.


Until this year, SINP has invited 2740 Occupations in Demand candidates. Along with the 2245 candidates invited to apply for a provincial nomination through Saskatchewan Express Entry sub- category, the total number of invitations in 2020 is just under 5000.


For being selected, Candidates need to have submitted Expression of Interest (EOI) Profile with SINP.


Expression of Interest (EOI) is use to invite immigration candidates that have the potential to expand in the prairie province to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence.


Candidates who are interested should make a profile of EOI and explain their capacity to settle into life in Saskatchewan by telling their work experience, education, language ability, age and connections to the province.


The SINP uses these five factors to evaluate candidates and give them a score out of 100 on the international skilled worker Points Assessment Grid.


The maximum scoring candidates are then issued an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian PR.


The lowest score required for September 24 draws was 82 for both categories.


No job is required in order to receive an invitation from Saskatchewan. But candidate should have at least 1 year of work experience in related to their study.


Invited candidates in both categories should have Educational Credential Assessments, which tells how foreign degrees, diplomas and certificates are compare to Canadian Credentials.


Express Entry sub-category


Saskatchewan has issued 278 invitations to candidates who had profiles in the federal Express Entry pool in the last round invitation.


Saskatchewan Express Entry is linked to the federal Express Entry system, it manages the pool of candidates for three of Canadas main economic class immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trade Class, and Canadian Experience Class.


The Candidates may have been selected during the September 24 Draw if in the Federal Express Entry, they have filled out EOI for Saskatchewan and they have scored 82 points on the SINP Assessment Grid.


Express Entry Candidates are successfully guaranteed an invitation to apply for Canadian PR and awarded an additional 600 points towards their CRS Score at the Federal Level, if they have applied and received provincial nomination from the province of Saskatchewan.


Occupations In-Demand sub-category


Candidates who don’t have a profile of Federal Express Entry Profile are open to apply for Occupations In-Demand sub category for immigration.


Total number of Candidates were 257, who successfully applied for provincial nomination, candidates needed a score of 82 to be chosen, just like the Express Entry sub- category.


The September 24 draws issued invitations to the candidates.81 occupations were given to the candidates which includes senior managers, sales representatives, machinery operators and more.
