Super Visa

The Super Visa allows parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents to visit Canada for extended periods.
 
Super visas grant entry to Canada for up to two years, with the ability to apply for extensions of one year at a time.
 

There are a few requirements that must be met in order to apply for the Super Visa:

1. Valid Canadian medical insurance coverage for at least one year with a minimum coverage of $100,000.

2. Invitation letter from the host in Canada.

​

• The invitation letter should include host details as well as parent’s details.  

​

​

• The host must provide proof of minimum income threshold (LICO), as they are responsible for your financial support while in Canada.

3. Pass a medical examination.
